Open Markdown Files Locally — Asterive
Open and render Markdown files locally in Asterive without uploading the source or creating a note until you explicitly import it.
Asterive opens .md, .markdown, .mdown, and .mkd files in a local browser viewer.
The Markdown source remains in the current tab and is not uploaded or saved as a note automatically.
Installed compatible desktop PWAs can register Asterive as a Markdown file handler.
Import is a separate explicit action that opens a note draft for review.
