Your library stays tied to your account. A note becomes public only when you create a read-only share link, and you can expire, replace, or disable that link whenever you choose.

Asterive keeps your library private by default. Import it, export it in portable formats, share only what you choose, and delete your account when you are done.

Take your notes with you
TXT, Markdown, and the Asterive Portable Archive are available on every plan. Pro adds PDF and bulk Markdown or PDF downloads.
Delete your account
Confirmed account deletion disables access immediately. Live account data is targeted within 7 days, restricted backups age out within 35 days, and required minimized billing records may be kept longer.
The portable archive covers active notes, including Archive, and eligible owned files. It does not include Trash, note history, or AI conversations.
You choose when AI uses your data
AI controls are separate so one choice does not silently enable another.
Assistant
When you ask for AI help, Asterive sends your message and limited relevant context. Private chat sends message text only.
Semantic search
Use remote embeddings is off by default. Turn it on only if you want searchable content and queries sent to the configured AI provider.
Recordings
Choose recordings manually, or separately enable automatic transcription for search. The automatic setting is off by default.
