Clear rules for using Asterive.

By creating an account or using Asterive, you agree to these Terms of Use and confirm that you can legally enter into this agreement.

You may use Asterive where doing so is lawful. Some features or payment methods may be unavailable in particular locations.

Use accurate account information, keep access credentials and verification codes private, and maintain access to the email connected to your account.

Tell Support promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account until unauthorized access is reported and reasonably verified.

You keep ownership of the notes, files, and other content you add to Asterive. You give Asterive limited permission to store, copy, process, display, transmit, and back up that content only as needed to operate, secure, export, share, and provide the features you choose.

You are responsible for having the right to store or share your content. A read-only share link makes the linked note and its referenced files available to anyone who has the link until it expires, is replaced, or is disabled.

AI answers, transcription, extraction, search, and imports can be incomplete or incorrect. Review results before relying on them or applying a proposed change.

Do not use Asterive as a substitute for qualified legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Privacy controls and the circumstances in which content is sent to a provider are explained on the Privacy page.

Do not use Asterive to break the law, violate another person's rights, distribute malware or spam, attack or overload the service, probe other accounts, evade security controls, abuse storage or AI capacity, or bypass plan limits.

Do not upload or publicly share content that you do not have the right to use. Asterive may limit clearly abusive automated activity to protect other users and the service.

The Pricing page shows the current plan features and prices. Stripe card subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual period until cancelled. Cancellation normally stops future renewal while keeping Pro active through the paid period.

Crypto purchases are prepaid periods handled through NOWPayments. They do not renew automatically and are non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. Eligible non-crypto payments have the separate seven-day refund policy described on Billing & refunds.

Asterive may temporarily suspend access when reasonably needed to address a security threat, fraud, nonpayment, unlawful activity, harmful abuse, attacks on the service, or attempts to bypass safety and plan controls.

Urgent security or legal risks may require immediate action. For an ordinary correctable violation, Asterive will normally email the reason and allow seven days to correct it. You may ask Support to review a mistake. Read-only access and export will be preserved when reasonably safe and lawful.

You may cancel a subscription without deleting your account, or permanently delete the account through Settings. Suspension, cancellation, and refund actions do not silently delete notes or files.

Asterive is provided without a promise that every feature will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Reasonable technical, storage, AI, import, export, and rate limits may be used to protect security, reliability, and cost.

Material Terms changes will normally be announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Urgent security or legal changes may take effect sooner with an explanation. Price changes apply only to a future renewal after notice.

If Asterive permanently discontinues the service, it will aim to provide at least 30 days' notice and an export window. Any refund required by the published policy or applicable law will still be honored.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Asterive is not responsible for indirect losses or losses caused by content you provide, choices you make, third-party services, or events outside reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue to apply.

Start with Support for an account, billing, privacy, security, or service complaint. Include the account email and relevant payment or support identifier when possible, but never send a password, verification code, full card number, or wallet secret.
