Card and crypto behave differently. The payment screen shows the applicable rule before checkout.
7 days for eligible card refunds
Request a full refund within 7 calendar days of an initial card payment or automatic card renewal.
Crypto is prepaid
Crypto does not renew automatically and is non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Cancellation is not account deletion
Cancelling a Stripe subscription stops future renewal and normally keeps Pro active through the paid period. A crypto term ends automatically unless you manually renew it. Neither action deletes your notes or files.
Card users manage renewal in the Stripe-hosted billing portal from Account settings.
Refund eligibility
The 7-day promise is a voluntary policy for Stripe card payments. It does not reduce rights that apply under local law.

What happens after a full card refund
The Stripe subscription is cancelled so it cannot renew again.
Pro ends when the full refund is confirmed and the account returns to Free.
Notes and files are not deleted. If usage is above a Free limit, export and deletion remain available while additional growth may be blocked.
The refund is sent to the original card. Bank and provider processing times vary.
